You can relax at home. The duplexes are two stories, one bedroom and 1 and ˝ baths. The bedrooms have split-unit A/C but most evenings are comfortable without them. The laundry is located above the creek gardens to make the task a pleasure. There are many ceiling fans with great cross ventilation and window screens. Landline phone and ADSL internet are available. Cell phone reception is good. Major US network TV stations are available by Direct TV service from Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. They are alarm equipped with outside security lighting. Outdoor kitchen with gas barbeque, stove, and hot water can also be enjoyed.
Or, venture out to explore the many adventures and experiences charming Panama has to offer. For example:

Valle is about 2 hours away. It is a quite little village,
except Sundays, nestled in the valley of an extinct volcano with
a small Zoo, hot springs, large water fall and plants of every
kind you can imagine. On Sunday, people from everywhere go to
El Valle for the “Indian market” where you can buy just about
anything from hand carved soap stone to birds. There are several beaches and resorts to enjoy starting just 40 minutes up the Inter American highway. Two golf courses are available. HOROKO golf course is only 20 minutes away and the Summit course is about 35 minutes away. The Gamboa rain forest excursion is well worth the day and is about 50 minutes away. Panama City is only 30 minutes away with historical and scenic sites such as Old Panama City, Casco Viejo, the Panama Canal and so many more but not enough space to mention them all. |
Wildlife
Many butterflies, birds, a couple sloths and a few small Titsi monkeys call this 3 1/2 acres home.
La Chorrera
One of the larger towns outside of Panama City, La Chorrera is 10-15 mins. away with more shopping and local culture. The Chorrera Ex-pat group includes U.S., Canadian, Scottish, British, and South African. We get together once a week for dinner to share information and have good conversation. All are welcome to attend.
Neighbors
Our close neighbors are a great young couple from England who also enjoy good wine, food and conversation.

Location
All you need to do is unpack your suitcases and enjoy this lovely quiet country home only 30 mins from Panama City across the Panama Canal on the way to the beaches and mountains. There is easy access to both bridges across the canal. Beaches, two golf courses and mountains are only 30 mins. aways. Ample parking is available for a dozen cars. Local shopping for daily needs at El Rey Supermarket, Machatazo (the Walmart of Panama), banks, and more is only a few minutes away. A small convenience store "Rambo" is a few minutes down the road. Bus and taxi transportation is available on the main road outside the driveway.
